Welcome to my personal page! This is the place to get to know me better: what I believe, what I find interesting, and what I am working on at the moment.

Big fan of startups, technology, the humanities in all their forms, and endurance sports.

Your own progress is the only honest benchmark. Everyone started somewhere you cannot see, so their highlight reel tells you nothing. Move one habit, one number, one rep forward today and let it compound.

The reason to bother: the pursuit of excellence is the very principle of man's existence. Excellence in the work, in the body, in how you treat people and in how you rest.

Ten rough attempts teach more than one perfect attempt still in progress. Think in the quiet first. Once you know what to do, stop planning and move.

Speed belongs to the effort. Patience belongs to the results, which always take longer than you would like.

Attention is the scarcest currency you own. Spread it across ten open tabs and you finish none of them. Depth is a choice you make every time you say no.

Protect the silence, even the boredom: quiet is good for thinking. And watch what you feed your mind, because it becomes what it consumes.

Trade the easy now for the future you want, and let the body carry the proof: the miles you did not skip, the reps nobody clapped for.

What truly matters takes time, and the wait is what gives the reward its weight. Difficult things have meaning because they are difficult, as long as they point at something worth reaching. Still, do not postpone living until the finish line. Savor the road.

Meaning shows up when you carry the weight instead of dodging it. Obstacles are what give meaning, so there is meaning to find in any situation, even the ones you would never choose.

Problems never run out: solve one and the next walks in. Since they are guaranteed, the only real variable is how you meet them, as puzzles to crack rather than insults to resent. Anger is just arguing with reality.

Split everything into two piles, what depends on you and what does not. Put all your effort into the first and not a single worry into the second. Fretting over what you cannot control is suffering twice.

Wisdom is the hunger to keep asking, more than the pile of answers you already have. The moment you feel certain you know it all is the moment you stop growing.

It also changes how you disagree. Challenge from listening rather than from certainty.

Keep the eyes of a kid taking a machine apart to see how it ticks. Go to first principles.

When the ground gets comfortable, take it as the cue to choose the path that teaches. Embrace change and uncertainty instead of fighting them: the unknown is where the learning happens.

Put real fire behind what you do and people lean in, doors open, dead weight starts to shift. It shows in the output. Do it with heart, or do not lift it at all.

The ambition that counts is intellectual: the problems you choose, how well you solve them, how much you come to know. Stay humble and be loud only in your output. The obvious road is crowded precisely because it is obvious.

The engine is enjoying the game. "I will enjoy it once I hit X" is a deal that never pays out, because every milestone drops you among faster people. In every field the greatest are the ones who lasted longest, and it is hard to compete with someone who is having fun.

You do not need to be special. You need to be what most people will not be: consistent, determined, willing to do the work without shortcuts. Talent is rare. Consistency is rarer.

Every lie, said out loud or to your own reflection, chips a piece off your spine. Refuse to do what you would despise in someone else, especially when nobody is watching. Character is forged without witnesses.

Caring for people means more than wrapping them in cotton wool. Hand them the hard thing, stand behind them while they wrestle with it, and watch them grow taller than your shelter ever was. You lift others by the example you set.

Every other rule asks you to push. This one is the balm for when you are tired or things go wrong: stop, calm down, rest, and come back. Rest is part of how the work gets built.

Notice the small, ordinary beauty most people sprint past. Cultivate inner peace. And keep your material needs small, because when you do not need much, hitting your goals becomes easier.
